Tour 1 - SEGSCHWÄNZLE-TOUR - Low-tech meets high-tech

After having practiced at the Segway base, we smoothly ride to the railway station, load our gear and enjoy a scenic train ride to Weizen. From Weizen station (472 m) we follow the Wutach River to Grimmelshofen and traverse the forest towards Fützen, where we get a breathtaking view of the Eichberg and Buchberg escarpments. Past the old custom house we ride to Fützen station to take a picture of the incoming steam train. Who is quickest to reach the tunnel at Achdorfer Weg? We may even catch another glimpse of the train. Via Wellblechweg we reach Achdorf 2.5 km later. At about 5 PM we take a snack at the historical restaurant Scheffellinde. Surmounting the steep slope of the Gampen, we ride back to the base or the railway station.

Tour 2 - HIGHER, FARTHER, MORE BEAUTIFUL - Coasting beyond space and time

After having practiced at the Segway base, we smoothly ride to the railway station, load our gear and enjoy a scenic train ride to Weizen. From Weizen station (472 m) we follow the Wutach River to Lausheim-Blumegg station and ride up to the village of Blumegg (665 m). Crossing the hill of Eichbühl (693 m), which offers a spectacular view of the Randen ridge and the Wutach Valley, we descend to Achdorf (593 m). At about 5:15 PM we make ourselves comfortable in the 500-year-old restaurant Scheffellinde before we tackle the steep climb to Blumberg (704 m). The return to the Segway base is scheduled for 6:30 PM.

Tour 4 - SEGWAY-SAFARI - Exotic meets exotics

Setting off from Blumberg, we ride to Zollhaus and follow the long distance trail E1 through the forest and the village of Randen to the natural monument “Blauer Stein” (= blue stone). After a break we go on to Riedöschingen, where we have deserved a cup of coffee. This energy infusion makes us ready to visit an ostrich farm. Then we return to the Segway base via the reedy march of Zollhaus.

Tour 5 - CULTURE & THE VEGETABLE TRAIL -
Tour 5 - UNESCO World Heritage Monastic Island of Reichenau

The tour takes us all around the beautiful Isle of Reichenau and includes sightseeing and vegetable shopping if desired. On the way we have a break at the camping site “Sandseele” (= spirit of sand) and at the vineyard of Hochwart, where we enjoy a breathtaking scenic view over Lake Constance.

Tour 6 - LAKE TITISEE - Black Forest cake meets Segway

We start from the climbing crag “Action Forest” and use hidden paths to cruise around the whole of Lake Titisee.

Tour 10 - FÜRSTENBERG and the Noble Segway Knights

We ride through the forest and over the hill of Stoberg down to Hondingen. Heading for the village of Fürstenberg, we cross the Schaecher and finally reach the summit of the Fürstenberg (919 m). The plateau offers a 360 degree view covering the Baar region, Black Forest and the Swiss Alps. Nowadays it is a popular starting point for hang gliders and paragliders. Weʼll be coming round the mountain when we come back to our base via Fürstenberg and Riedböhringen.
